As Director, Environmental Compliance, Laura is responsible for providing direction and minimizing risk with respect to environmental permitting and compliance, monitoring environmental regulations relevant to the data center industry, and developing strategies to ensure compliance with new and evolving regulatory requirements. Laura joined CyrusOne in August 2023 after working as an environmental consultant for over 15 years, providing air permitting and environmental compliance support to commercial and industrial facilities across the US, with a focus on the telecommunications and data center industries. In her last year as an environmental consultant, Laura served as a co-technical lead to the Data Center Coalition’s Multistate Air Permitting Committee, where she helped guide technical discussions related to air permitting challenges facing data centers in the US, and monitor, evaluate, and communicate the importance of new and evolving regulatory requirements related to air permitting.
