Caryn Quist is the Air Strategy SME for Meta’s Data Center Site Development Team, where she leads air permitting and compliance strategy for Meta’s new and expanded U.S. data centers portfolio as well as global decarbonization projects that support Meta’s Scope 1 GHG emission reduction targets. Prior to working at Meta, she worked as an air quality engineer at the Bay Area Air Quality Management District in California, where she specialized in permitting Title V facilities and several industrial source types with toxic air emissions (including data centers). She has also previously led an environmental compliance program (air, waste, water, hazmat) at an Intel semiconductor manufacturing plant in California and worked as a consultant at Geosyntec on environmental remediation.
